Description:
Berberine Hydrochloride is a natural quaternary ammonium salt of isoquinoline alkaloids extracted from plants in the Ranunculaceae family, such as Coptis chinensis, Phellodendron amurense, and three needles. Its chemical formula is C ₂ ₀ H ₁ ₈ ClNO ₄. Its appearance is yellow needle shaped crystals, with an extremely bitter taste, and it is a commonly used natural medicine in clinical practice. Berberine hydrochloride has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity as its core, and has significant inhibitory effects on intestinal pathogenic bacteria such as Shigella and Escherichia coli.
