Chlorothalonil, also known as 2,4,5,6-tetrachloro-1,3-phthalonitrile, with molecular formula C8Cl4N2, is a broad-spectrum protective fungicide. Chlorothalonil can interact with the glyceraldehyde triphosphate dehydrogenase in fungal cells and combine with the protein containing cysteine in the enzyme, thereby destroying the activity of the enzyme, causing the metabolism of the fungal cells to be destroyed and lose vitality. Chlorothalonil has no systemic absorption and conduction effect, but after spraying on plants, it can have good adhesion on the body surface, and it is not easy to be washed away by rainwater, so the efficacy period is longer.

The acute oral LD50 of rats is >10000mg/kg, and that of mice is 3700mg/kg; the acute percutaneous LD50 of rabbits is 1000mg/kg; the acute inhalation LC50 of rats is >4.7mg/L (1h). It has a strong stimulating effect on the conjunctiva and cornea of rabbit eyes, and is not sensitive to human eyes. Product Usage

It can be used for wheat, rice, vegetables, fruit trees, peanuts, tea and other crops, and can prevent wheat scab, tomato early blight, late blight, leaf mold, leaf blight, melon downy mildew, anthracnose, etc. It can also be used for peach brown rot, scab, tea anthracnose, tea cake disease, net cake disease, peanut leaf spot, rubber canker, cabbage downy mildew, black spot, grape anthracnose, eggplant gray mold, Orange scab disease.

Precautions
1. Chlorothalonil is irritating to human skin and eyes, and a few people have allergic reactions. Usually can cause mild contact dermatitis.
2. Chlorothalonil is toxic to fish and must be kept away from ponds, lakes and streams when applying. Do not contaminate the water source with the liquid used to clean the utensils.
3. This product should be protected from moisture and sunscreen, and stored in a cool and dry place. It is strictly forbidden to mix with food, seeds and feed to prevent accidental ingestion and misuse. Dispose of waste containers properly and safely after use.
4.10% oil can cause phytotoxicity to peach, pear, persimmon, plum and apple young fruit.
5. It has toxic effects on silkworms, tussahs and bees, and precautions should be taken when using them.

Storage characteristics
